Ground Zero farming guide

Ground Zero farming guide
Ground Zero
Ground Zero is a starting map for low-level PMCs.
It's concidered to be for beginners because of two reasons:
1) All starting quests are done here
2) It is restricted to level 19 and below
As of January 2024 you can't start a raid on Ground Zero on your PMC when he reached level 20, though Scav is still an option (more below).

Even though this location was made for newer players to introduce them to this game - PMC spawns are located in a very close proximity to each other. It's recommended to use any headset when goind to a raid and listen to surroundings when you spawn - enemy can already be heard from minute one!

There are no particular places to farm on this map. It has some locked door with keys required, but loot behind them is not really worth farming anyway (couple of PCs and rare safes here and there at max). The rare loot in containers (e.g. GPUs, flash-drives, Lab keycards) is also has reduced chance to spawn here. Even in this situation - farming common items for quests is still a good idea. Common items include wires/coolers/conditioners/small tech loot. Even if your PMC is above level 20 - you can always use your Scav there and gather plenty of those items.

There are few extracts on this map. Couple of them you will visit while doing quests (Emercom checkpoint and Car exit). Nakatni basement is a safe one since there are no quests nearby, but it is not always available (depends on spawn). Prospect Mira extract requiresthe use of green signal flare while standing directly in front of it. Green flare can be found on a dead Scav nearby with 100% chance.
